Andy Griswold  (above) from the Connecticut Audubon Society talks to host, Kathleen Skoczen about eco-travel and bird watching in Connecticut, the United States and around the world. Eco-travel is a great way to see the world and connect with nature.  Connecticut Audubon Society‚Äôs EcoTravel offers trips for birders, naturalists, and travelers.  Many trips are local, including the well-known Connecticut River Trips to spot eagles during their winter migrations.  There are also many other throughout the United States, and around the world.  In addition to the day trips there are overnight trips to nearby destinations (Block Island, Maine, etc.) and some longer trips that include destinations around the world.  Andy discusses some of his favorite spots including Cuba and Brazil.  Visit the Eco-travel website or follow Andy on his blog.
